Hi, I’m Kiley Houck
Social Worker turned Certified Health Coach
If we’re being really honest, my path here wasn’t that smooth, Pinterest-perfect transformation. It was messy, emotional, and sometimes in your face loud. Then other times, it was so quiet and isolating. I felt like I was the only one struggling. But through every binge, every food rule I tried to follow, every cardio workout to earn food, and every moment I felt like I had failed again... I was actually finding the pieces I needed to build a life I could finally trust.
My Journey
Let’s rewind real quick to 2019. I was 198 pounds, standing next to my best friend as her maid of honor, and it was an incredible experience. Until a month later, she got her pictures developed and I didn’t even recognize myself. I was not the girl that had been captured in these forever moments, and I was pissed. That day lit a fire under me in the worst way possible, and I dove headfirst into the diets. I tried all the "quick fixes", and dropped 65 pounds in two years... but somewhere along the way, I lost myself with the weight.
I was exhausted. I looked “healthy” but was broken by every definition of the word. When I wasn’t working, I was obsessing about food and exercise. I was either overeating out of stress or micromanaging every bite with military precision, just to punish myself the next day. I was in a constant tug-of-war with my body, and I was burning out... hard!
The Shift
Eventually, I snapped. Emotionally, mentally, physically… I was on the verge of a psychiatric hold. And honestly, thank G because that breakdown became my breakthrough. I quit dieting and stepped away from my career. I decided that if I was going to be alive, I wanted to actually feel alive!
That’s when everything changed for the better. I slowed down, got quiet, and stopped fighting my body 24/7. I started giving myself space and compassion, so I could learn how to listen to my body instead. And in doing so, I healed.
I found a way to eat that felt good without obsessing over food. I learned how to move my body because it felt fun, not because I “had to”. I discovered that my self-worth was never meant to be tied to the size of my pants or the number on a scale. And because of all that, I’ve kept the 65 pounds off! But not through restriction or punishment… through connection, self-trust, and ease.
My Mission
As your Mindfulness Master, I’m here to offer not just the strategies that worked for me, but also the empathy, understanding, and support you need on your journey. I’ve walked this path, and I know the pitfalls and the peaks. My approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral coaching, backed by my background in counseling services, and enriched by my own experiences.
I don't just offer guidance; I offer a partnership. I work with everyday people (you don’t have to be a “wellness person” to work with me) who are tired of thinking about food ALL THE TIME. You might be stuck in cycles of overeating, emotional eating, “starting over on Monday”, or feeling like you’re doing everything “right” but still feeling out of control. Either way, you want balance, freedom, and to live in a way that actually lasts.
And that’s exactly what I help with! Together, we will explore your relationship with food, the limiting beliefs holding you back, the obstacles in your daily routine, and the mindset reinforcing those hindering habits. Then, we’ll address triggers and barriers to develop a plan that celebrates your unique needs and goals, so you can create a balanced, sustainable lifestyle.
Let’s Connect
I’m not the coach who’ll tell you to track your macros or force you to power through your cravings. I’m the coach who will help you understand why those cravings are there in the first place, and give you real tools to respond to them with self-compassion and curiosity, not shame. This life you’re pinning for isn’t about getting it perfect. It’s about getting you back to you!
So if you’re done trying to “fix” yourself, and ready to finally trust yourself… I’d love to help you. Let’s make food feel easy. Let’s make wellness feel like something you actually look forward to. And let’s make your life feel like your own again. Happiness starts here.
My Approach
A common myth out there is that food is just fuel, something to be controlled through “calories in, calories out”. But, that approach misses the mark on what eating and living well is all about. I believe that eating should never feel like a battle or a test of willpower and neither should your routine. My focus is on helping clients connect with the deeper side of their eating habits and uncover the dialogue between their body and mind, so they can rewire their brains with compassion instead of judgment.
Through my content, live events, and coaching programs, I aim to make life feel enjoyable and effortless again. “Healthy living” isn’t unrealistic when it’s been molded to fit you, which is exactly what I do! When we pay attention, we gain insights into our emotions, our needs, and what truly makes us feel good. Eating is part of a bigger picture that includes stress management, sleep, movement, and emotional resilience. By embracing this holistic view, we can start to heal and see food as just one piece of the wellness puzzle.
In my Haven, we’ll shift the focus from what’s on your plate to who you are behind it (both in the kitchen and in your day-to-day expectations). This is a supportive, non-judgmental approach where you’re seen as a whole person, not just a set of “bad” habits to fix. It’s about creating an authentic, balanced process that aligns with your values and needs.
